Bill calculator

Pull the numbers off your latest statement.

This page estimates a new REP power bill and a separate Solrite invoice from the figures you enter. It is not a quote. Book a call if you want those same numbers read from the PDF with you.

Your statement

See your new power bill

Two invoices, never mixed. The estimated power bill is from your REP (retail electric provider). The Solrite VPA is about $20.00 on a separate Solrite invoice — it is not added into the REP total. Today's solar-only REP bill still shows energy minus buyback, with delivery separate. Grid services do not cost backup rights.

Grid import kWh on this statement.

Today's REP total. No Solrite.

Used for a daily-use proxy (billed kWh ÷ days). Not subtracted from usage.

REP base/customer charge from the bill. Defaults to 14.95 if blank. Path A only.

Gross energy $ on today's solar-only REP bill.

Delivery on today's REP bill. Shown separately.

kWh exported on the old solar-only bill. Path B: leftover grid = billed − this. Path A: this kWh is the REP peak buyback figure at $0.10/kWh.

Dollar credit on today's REP bill. Cuts today's energy line only. If you enter dollars but not kWh, we recover kWh from the energy rate.

Estimate

Power bill and Solrite, separate

Two paths. If the old bill exported surplus and daily billed use is under 60 kWh with no leftover grid, the REP power bill is the base charge minus $0.10/kWh peak buyback (REP pays you). Otherwise leftover grid × $0.129 is the REP power bill. Solrite is always about $20.00 on its own invoice.

How the estimate is built

The arithmetic, not a brochure figure.

  • Two invoices. The REP power bill is never mixed with the Solrite VPA (about $20 on its own invoice).
  • On today's solar-only REP bill, overproduction cuts the energy line. Delivery stays separate. No Solrite on that statement.
  • Path A — old bill exported surplus and daily billed use is under 60 kWh with no leftover grid: excess fills the Duracell battery. The REP power bill is the base charge minus $0.10/kWh peak buyback (the REP pays you). Solrite stays separate.
  • Path B — leftover nighttime/grid remains: that leftover × $0.129 (energy and delivery included) is the REP power bill. Solrite is not added into that total. Combined household is power + Solrite, labeled as combined.
  • 60 kWh is daily battery capacity — why export disappears — not a silent wipe of monthly kWh. Grid services do not cost backup rights.
