Texas solar owners · Greater Houston

You already paidfor the sun.Stop renting it back.

Grid-tied solar pushes power to the meter at noon and buys it back after dark, at your provider's price rather than yours. Scroll the day: Duracell Max Hybrid keeps the afternoon, the night, and the outage on your side of the meter. Solrite lease, local crew.

The day, in order

How a Duracell Max Hybrid changes the day

Midday

Your roof is working. The house is not.

Panels peak when nobody is home and the air conditioning is coasting. Surplus goes out to the meter for whatever your plan pays for exports — which, on most Texas retail plans, is not what you pay to buy it back.

The day curve is a shape, not a scale. Your numbers come off your bill.

  • What the house uses

After dark

Then you buy the same day back.

Dinner, laundry, the A/C catching up, everyone home. Those hours are bought from the grid at the retail rate, plus the delivery fees that never left. A solar payment and a utility bill — two charges for one roof.

The hardware

Duracell Max Hybrid sits between the roof and the meter.

Imperium sizes it and installs it. Solrite owns the battery and leases it to you, so you are not buying a second large asset on top of the panels. The afternoon finally has somewhere to go besides the meter.

When the grid is healthy

Grid services pay Solrite. What is left comes to you.

On ordinary days the battery can earn from grid services — a virtual power plant while the system is up. That revenue services the Solrite lease. The programme is built as $0 down and about $20 a month.

About $20 a month is the programme shape, not a savings percentage and not a quote. Your figure is set from your bill, on the call.

After dark, with storage

At night, the battery is yours.

Evening load comes off what the roof stored, not off a buyback. Grid services run when the grid is healthy. They do not take the night from you.

When the grid drops

The battery is still yours.

Participating in grid services does not spend your backup. When the street goes dark, the battery backs the whole main panel — nothing in the house is left off a list. What is finite is how long it carries you. An emergency becomes an inconvenience.

Next step

Thirty minutes. Your bill, not a brochure.

Book a call or ring us. If storage is wrong for the address, you hear that before anyone quotes you.

What you are actually buying

The hardware is the easy part.
The terms are where people get hurt.

Duracell storage, on a Solrite lease

The hardware is Duracell home energy storage. The battery is owned and leased to you by Solrite, the finance company behind the programme, so you are not buying a second large asset on top of the panels. We do the install and we stand behind it.

The lease terms, in writing, first

What Solrite owns, what you pay monthly, what happens at end of term, and what happens if you sell the house. You read it on your own time, with nobody sitting across your kitchen table waiting.

Licensed and insured

Permitted, inspected, and done to code — with the paperwork handed to you, not filed somewhere you never see.

One crew, start to finish

The person who reads your bill on the call is the person who plans the install. No handoff to a subcontractor you have never met.

Straight answers about duration

The system backs your whole main panel, so nothing gets left off. What we will be straight about is how long it carries the house on a given night, and whether that closes enough of your gap to be worth doing at all.

How it works

Four steps, no theatre

  1. 01

    Send your latest bill

Before a slot locks, you upload your most recent power bill. A person reads it and confirms which Texas market your address sits in. Co-op and Entergy addresses are told immediately, not after a call.

  2. 02

    Pick a 30-minute window

Live availability against both of our calendars, in Central time. What you see is genuinely open — nothing is double-booked behind the scenes.

  3. 03

    We call you

Thirty minutes. We read your bill with you, work out what your panels leave uncovered after dark, and say whether storage closes enough of that gap to be worth doing.

  4. 04

    Terms before signatures

If it fits, you get the Solrite lease terms and the install scope in writing, and time to read them. If it does not fit, that is the end of it and you owe us nothing.

Two minutes, five questions

Check if you qualify before you talk to anyone.

Your ZIP, whether you already have panels, who sends your bill, how often your street goes dark, and what you protect first. A straight answer at the end — including “not you, and here is why”.

Start the check

No account. No payment. You can stop at any question.

Proof

We would rather show you nothing than show you something invented.

This is where verified reviews go, with names and links, once the homeowners who wrote them have said we can publish them. Until then the space stays empty. Ask us on the call for references you can actually phone.

No customer testimonials are published yet. Three placeholder slots are shown.

  • Licensed and insured — certificate available on request before the visit.
  • Every job gets a written scope with exclusions listed, not implied.
  • References from completed local installs, given on the call rather than printed here.

Questions

The ones people actually ask.

Every question

Because Texas retail choice only exists in part of the state, and Greater Houston is a patchwork. The bill tells us in one look whether your address is on CenterPoint (retail choice), a cooperative, or Entergy Texas. If you are a co-op member we tell you immediately instead of driving out and finding a way to sell you something anyway.

Next step

Find out in 30 minutes whether this fits your roof.

Upload your latest bill, pick a window, and we call. If storage is wrong for your address, you will hear that from us before anyone quotes you anything.
